Para estudiar la influencia de las distribuciones estadísticas de los pesos de los elementos (items), el costo de los envases y su capacidad en la complejidad del VSCBPP se propone un juego de instancias resueltas por el SCIP. Están divididas en tres grupos, uno con características similares a las descritas en los trabajos publicados hasta el momento, otro que utiliza diferentes distribuciones para los pesos de los elementos y finalmente otro donde las capacidades de los envases tienen distintas distribuciones. Los costos de los envases tienen cuatro tipos de correlación con la capacidad. En cada grupo existen tres subgrupos donde se modifica el tamaño, desde las más pequeñas (G1) hasta instancias muy grandes (G3). They are divided into three groups, one with similar characteristics as the described in the works published until now, another that uses different distributions for the weights of the items and finally, another one where the capacities of the bins have different distributions. The costs of the bins have four types of correlation with capacity. In each group there are three subgroups ordered by size, from the smallest (G1) to the largest ones (G3).
